ABOUT FOLI BIO

Built to make gut biology
measurable

Foli Bio is building a new molecular data layer for gut biology through stool-derived host RNA — enabling non-invasive transcriptomic readouts for translational studies, clinical diagnostics, and precision medicine.

Making the gut transcriptome accessible

The gastrointestinal tract is central to mucosal immunity, barrier function, metabolism, gastrointestinal cancer biology, and therapeutic response — but local gut biology is difficult to measure repeatedly without invasive procedures.

Biopsy is episodic. Blood misses local gut signals. Microbiome sequencing captures microbial composition, not the human host response.

Foli Bio is building Foli-seq™ to make host gut transcriptomics accessible through stool-derived RNA, enabling longitudinal molecular readouts for translational studies, biomarker discovery, clinical diagnostics, and precision medicine.

What we are building toward
Non-invasive transcriptomic readouts of mucosal biology from stool-derived host RNA.

The Gut RNA Atlas — a data platform mapping host molecular signals across gut biology and disease.

Translational biomarker signatures to accelerate drug development, stratification, and response monitoring.
Clinical molecular diagnostics and precision medicine applications for gut diseases.

A multidisciplinary team built around gut biology

Foli Bio brings together expertise in host transcriptomics, gut biology, assay development, bioinformatics, and translational partnerships to advance stool-derived host RNA into real-world research and diagnostic applications.
